What is a shower breech?
In a traditional two-tap shower, the breech is the pipework behind the wall that connects the taps to the shower outlet. It is hidden from view, and a leak in this section may appear while the shower is in use. That makes the timing and location of any dampness useful information when you contact a plumber.

Check the cause before choosing the repair
Not every shower or bathroom leak comes from the breech. The source needs to be established rather than assumed from a wet patch alone.
